Shoot Hoops Not Guns Classic (SHNGC) is a Bronx-based basketball organization committed to creating competitive, structured and positive basketball opportunities for the youth.

Through youth teams, leagues, tournaments, skills development, and special basketball events, SHNGC gives athletes opportunities to compete, develop their game and be part of something bigger than basketball.

We believe the game teaches lessons that extend far beyond the court; discipline, teamwork, accountability, leadership, confidence and respect. Our goal is to create an environment where athletes can grow as players while developing skills and relationships that positively impact their lives.

While basketball is our foundation, our commitment to the community goes beyond the game. SHNGC also hosts community givebacks, anti-gun-violence events, youth mentorship opportunities, back-to-school initiatives and other programs designed to support the families and neighborhood we serve.

What started with a love for basketball continues to grow into a platform for competition, opportunity and community.
